Workshops

Workshops

2024 | U.K.

Having taught sculpture at The Art Academy in London for several years, George Triggs now offers figurative sculpture workshops in Shropshire and the surrounding area.

Workshops are suitable for beginners who are interested in developing basic skills in clay portraiture, as well as those with experience who wish to build on their existing skills. All materials are provided.

Working from life models, students are introduced to the fundamental skills to create portrait sculptures in clay. This includes learning the principles of proportion, anatomy and measuring, and experimenting with a variety of tools and mark making techniques to add expression and detail. George provides individual, expert guidance and advice throughout these sessions and encourages students to explore their creativity through figurative sculpture.

Details of upcoming workshops will be announced on george_triggs_sculpture. You can also join the mailing list to get the latest updates on upcoming workshops.

If you are interested in hosting a sculpture workshop facilitated by George Triggs, please email hello@georgetriggs.co.uk.
