Movements of the mind describes the murmuration of thoughts, feelings, ideas and external anxieties penetrating the mind; chaotic yet working as one, swarming and dissipating. The mask tries to contain the movements inside – at some points meditative and at other times frenetic and suffocating. The piece celebrates the underlying beauty of the movements of the mind, poetic and rhythmic, building to a crescendo then returning to a gentle peace.
